The following table shows the daily average minimum for the period 1961 - 1990. Note these are approximate values and the only way to do it properly is take the actual daily temperatures for the period between 1961 - 1990. However the 1991 -2020 has much more relevance today then the older earlier version which is included for historical purposes. These figures are a rough daily guide and they shouldn't be far off the actual figures.
Although TV presenters and written articles switch between the two averages and they often don't make it clear which average they are using. They may also at times use the final month value which isn't really correct either. The method shown here is closer to actual averages on the day concerned.
The data is derived from the Stevenson Screen and not from the Davis Weather station.
